Paediatric’s Acupuncture

Suitable for babies, children, teenagers up to the age of 17 only.

Shonishin Japanese Acupuncture does not involve needles.  It is child friendly, gentle, and non invasive. May be used to support digestion, respiration, allergies, sleeping, anxiety, stress, depression etc.

Natural Conception Programme

A three month programme consisting of an Initial Consultation and Treatment plus 11 weekly follow up sessions to prepare the body for pregnancy. 

This programme aims to regulate the menstrual cycle, promote ovulation and natural conception. Must be paid in advance.

A three month programme consisting of Initial Consultation and Treatment plus 11 weekly follow up sessions  in preparation or during fertility treatment.

Suitable for IVF, IUI or egg harvesting. Must be paid in advance.

Male Fertility Programme

The sperm production process spans three months. This package includes Initial Consultation and Treatment plus 11 weekly follow up sessions.

Acupuncture may improve sperm quality, count, morphology and motility.

PREGNANCY PACKAGES*

First Trimester + Programme

This pregnancy programme involves Initial Consultation and Treatment plus 11 weekly follow up sessions. 

It is recommended to have weekly sessions during the first trimester to promote a healthy and viable pregnancy (for example, especially important if high risk, an IVF pregnancy, or there is a history of miscarriage).

Any remaining sessions may be used during the rest of the pregnancy. Must be paid in advance.

Moxa to Turn Breech Baby Programme

9am-5pm, Mon-Fri £105 (includes take home moxa stick)

5pm-8pm, Monday-Fri £125 (includes take home moxa stick)

This Moxa for Breech Presentation programme involves one session during the third trimester from week 33 to encourage a breech or transverse baby to turn to a head down position in the womb.

We combine pregnancy acupuncture, and the use of Moxa, which is associated with a high success rate and is a natural alternative to an ECV. 

Pre-Birth Programme

Pre-birth acupuncture involves 4 weekly sessions including Initial Consultation and Treatment from week 36-40  to prepare for childbirth.

Pre-birth acupuncture has positive effects on a woman’s emotional and physical wellbeing.

Research findings shows that pre-birth acupuncture reduces labour time, there is less likely to be medical intervention and an increase in the likelihood of a vaginal delivery.  

Labour Induction Programme

Natural induction acupuncture or reflexology is available for women who are overdue by at least three days, or for medical purposes required to give birth before their due date . It includes 3 sessions including Initial Consultation and Treatment, usually over consecutive days.  It aims to soften and dilate the cervix and encourage the onset of uterine contractions.

Post-birth Recovery Programme

9am-5pm, Mon-Fri  £190

Post-birth acupuncture involves 2 sessions including Initial Consultation and Treatment on a weekly basis ideally within the first 10 days after birth.

This can also be within a month after childbirth. Post-birth acupuncture is suitable after c-section or vaginal delivery to rebalance hormones, promote healing and recovery. It may include ‘Mother Warming’ technique.

Packages must be paid for in advance. Non-refundable. Non-exchangeable.  Non-transferable. Valid for six months from date of purchase. Packages apply to Blackheath and Canary wharf locations only.  Only one package per client.

The initial appointment includes a Consultation and Treatment. 

There is a strict 48 hour cancellation policy to change or cancel your appointment, otherwise the full charge is incurred. This applies to missed and rescheduled appointments.  There is no exception to this policy.

Payment is required at the time of booking in advance by BACS, by PayPal or cash. Initial consultations need to be paid at the time of booking by BACS to reduce no shows. All follow ups require payment  in advance.

Receipts can be provided upon request for insurance purposes.

The Initial Consultation and Treatment for General Health and Pregnancy lasts 40 minutes for acupuncture or reflexology. 

The Initial Consultation and Treatment for Women’s Health or Fertility (male or female) lasts 40 minutes for acupuncture or reflexology.

Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes.

Acupuncture for pre and post embryo transfer includes the use the renowned Paulus et al acupuncture protocol to increase the chances of a successful pregnancy.

Our members are fully qualified, insured acupuncturists, reflexologists and nutritional therapists and registered members of the British Acupuncture Council.
